Training Requirements & Details
To qualify for LCSW-S status in Texas, you must have held an LCSW license for a minimum of two cumulative years. This experience may have been obtained in any state; however, you must currently hold a Texas LCSW license to apply for LCSW-S status in Texas. This 40-hour continuing education training course meets the supervision training standards established by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC).
Course Cost: $500
Upon completing the course and meeting all eligibility requirements, you may apply for LCSW-S (Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Supervisor) status.
